Framework: Trust Architects

Project

Blending the topics of trust and inclusivity, we believe that scarcity = abundance – trust. The world is unpredictable, and we must remember the importance of interdependency. We must go back to minding the Commons, not mining them. The key is to start building systems out of trust. We believe in trust by default means since humans are generally good. Everyone should plant the seed and nurture the plant, so we all share in the fruits of our labor.

Preamble

Blending the topics of trust and inclusivity, we believe that scarcity = abundance – trust. The world is unpredictable, and we must remember the importance of interdependency. We must go back to minding the Commons, not mining them. The key is to start building systems out of trust. We believe in trust by default means since humans are generally good. Everyone should plant the seed and nurture the plant, so we all share in the fruits of our labor.

Values

Trust by default; inclusivity and shared vulnerability; sustainability

Cosmology

We are ecosystems of superorganisms. We are probabilistic, not deterministic, and we believe abundance is always possible.

Human Nature

Humans are essentially good and trustworthy, but we expect certain actions from others and act in according to others’ expectations of us. In times of scarcity and danger, human behavior follows the domino effect.

Political Subject

Caretakers and other stakeholders of Commons, including beneficiaries and freeriders.

Metrics for Success

Global litigiousness, linguistic accessibility of laws, number of crimes per unit of law enforcement, amounts of law enforcement and military funding, quality and frequency of social engagements, Gross Domestic Commons, east of movement, a Global Trust Index, life expectancy.
